WICHITA, KAN. (KSNW) — The Wichita Wind Surge suffered their 10th straight loss, which is a new franchise record, with a 10-2 defeat at the hands of the Tulsa Drillers on Saturday night at Equity Bank Park.

The Drillers scored in five straight innings, including three runs each in the seventh and eighth innings. The Surge allowed 10-plus runs for a sixth consecutive contest.

Wichita is now 1-10 in the second half of the season.

The game was well attended, as 8,182 packed into the park, which is the largest crowd this season and 12th-largest in ballpark history.
