Kyler isn’t coming back next year. He’s done.

The biggest concern is if Gannon & even Monti are coming back
Agreed. I think Kyler won't return even if a new staff comes in and says they want to keep him.

The team quit after the Dallas win going into Seattle. It has progressively gotten worse. The effort today was SO bad that I would guess Monti is now throwing Gannon and staff under the bus in an attempt to save his job.

Kyler has no choice other than retire. He is under contract. If the Cardinals ( Bidwill) wants to keep him rather than pay him to walk away, Murray has no choice.

If you believe this then for sure Gannon and his staff needs to be gone.
If you believe injuries played a huge role then you must believe Monti is doing his job and returns.

Those clamouring for Saleh statistically the 49ers are very mediocre.
All categories are ranked in the 20’s except points allowed which is 11th.
They very seldom blitz and are a bend but don’t break defense.

The 49ers are successful because of a terrific offensive scheme..TERRIFIC.

All 3 teams in our division will have scored almost 500 points this year. Building a defense to stop these teams is a tall order.

The Bears stole Johnson away from Detroit and it hurt the Lions.
We could do the same with Klint Kubiak. He’s from the Shanahan Tree of coaching.

Go get him. Sign him for whatever it cost. Mr. Bidwill if you want our money then you’re going to have to spend some of yours.
Isn't points allowed the most important defensive statistic though? :p

To me the Seahawks strength is their defense, no one trusts their offense going into the postseason.
Maybe no one trusts Darnold... but as of now they lead the NFL in points scored (8th in offensive yards) and are #2 in points allowed (5th in defensive yards). That's after ranking 18th (points) / 14th (yards) last year on offense before Kubiak (and Darnold) arrived. They are also at or near the top of the NFL in special teams EPA.

Edit to add: per somewhere in The Athletic, the Seahawks are #1 in combined defense+special teams EPA, but only 24th in offensive EPA. (This almost exactly mirrors the Texans, who are #2 and #23, respectively.)

Not sure how many of their points for were actually scored by their defense or special teams, but this does strongly support the position that their offense is their weak point.

The sad part is a new GM is going to tear it all down again. But whoever that is he can’t be handcuffed. But you know he will be.
Actually, at least Ossenfort hasn't saddled the team with a bunch of underperforming vets on huge contracts and big dead cap money to be absorbed. Aside from getting rid of Murray (thanks, Keim!) most of the other guys who need to be cut won't put the team in a big hole cap-wise. So I think whoever the GM is next year can just build, without tearing down.

We can always hope for the best

There is so much dysfunction in this organization that it's hard to over come

Agree with getting the top offensive mind from our division. Hurts them as well. Anything is better than Cleveland 2.0
So strange that a losing organization like ours thought that bringing in a staff from a losing organization would be a winning philosophy

Strange indeed and shows how inept the top of the heap is

Will never play for the man he sued for racism. I don't know why you all keep ignoring that
Well since his broad suit was essentially against the entire NFL then he shouldn’t take a job from anyone no? The only connection between him and the team is when our fired coach jumped on the coat tails of Flores law suit?
