Oregon Ducks offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. is among players the Cincinnati Bengals might consider with the 17th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
Conerly, who started all 14 games at left tackle for Oregon each of the past two seasons, visited the Bengals on Monday, according to a report via Twitter/X by Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz, and is visiting the Washington Commanders Tuesday, having completed visits with the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons.
As one of the top pass protectors available, Conerly is expected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming draft.
What to know about Conerly:
Conerly's teammate and fellow tackle, Ajani Cornelius, was named third-team all-Big Ten.
Joining Conerly on the first team were Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel; Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson, a former Hamilton High School standout; and Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, also expected to be a first-round pick.
Among those named to the conference's offense honorable mention team was the Ohio State Buckeyes' Tegra Tshabola, a former Lakota West High School standout.
Conerly was named honorable mention all-Pac-12 conference in 2023.
Carter, a fellow all-Big Ten first-teamer, is expected to be among the first few players selected in the upcoming draft.
Conerly and the Ducks defeated Carter and the Nittany Lions, 45-37, in the Big Ten championship in December. Gabriel passed for 283 yards and four touchdowns, and was sacked just once. Carter did not sack Gabriel.
As a junior, Conerly allowed just one sack in 494 opportunities while surrendering just nine total pressures, according to Pro Football Focus.
Coming out of high school, Conerly was a consensus five-star recruit and top-35 player nationally.
Conerly is 6-foot-5, 311 pounds, and his total score of 80 at the 2025 combine ranked fifth among offensive tackles.
"Conerly is young and needs more development, but he should become a good starter at tackle or guard," NFL.com's Lance Zierlein wrote. "Conerly is proportionally built but lacks ideal play strength. He strains at the point of attack but needs to get his hips and hands synced to improve as a finisher."
