If amare goes ou there to guard okur, the jazz will set a screen, force a switch, and then amare will find himself guarding a faster player on the perimeter, I dont like it at all. Amare could get in foul trouble even faster out on the perimeter. I actually like Diaw on Okur, he's a much smarter defender than amare. Problem then is who does amare guard?
Would Shaq be out on the court in that scenario? If so, is Hill on the bench or at the 2 guard?

shaq could be out there. If okur is hitting from 3pt range, its trouble as someone will have to go out and guard him. It might be hill, but then that puts amare on Boozer if shaq is ont he bench, seen that matchup before andI dont like it. Shaq will prevent Boozer from being a force in the lane, count on it. Shaq dont go for those headfakes, he's too smart. Its okur, DWil, harpring, korver, and AK that have to be managed in a matchup with the suns. The suns cant leave Korver alone outside, just cant do that. Even Ronnie Brewer can post LB any time. The jazz have obviously played some inspired defense lately. In their loss to the lakers a few weeks back, okur hadnt eaten in 2 days with stomach virus and Boozer had a back problem and wasnt practicing. They both look healthy now.

Amare has guarded Okur the last 2-3 games at least. I dont see it changing unless you put hill on him and Amare on AK?

Okur may get his, but so will Amare. The focus should be on how well Shaq can contain Boozer.

if shaq can stay on the floor long enough then that wouldn't be a problem. with shaq inside, the real problem would be their bigs hitting outside shots (mehmo, ak, boozer). i'm not sure about our capability playing big, but with their wing's size, it might be worth a try...
