Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowl receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins appeared on "Up & Adams Show" with Kay Adams, and the host asked the pair which fellow Pro Bowlers they'd want the Bengals to acquire if they could add anyone.
She actually asked which free-agent Pro Bowlers they'd want for the Bengals. Neither player named a free agent.
"I don't know if he is a free agent, but (Tennessee Titans defensive tackle) Jeffery Simmons," Higgins said. "I like him. He's just a dawg up there in front, man. Just watching him over the season, he just made so many plays with run stopping, getting sacks on the QBs and stuff like that. I feel like we could use that."
"I want to go with your boy from Vegas," Chase said. "Maxx Crosby. I like Maxx Crosby. He's a dawg. I like Maxx Crosby."
"Hey, Maxx, man. C'mon to the Bengals, man!" Higgins added.
Adams then asked Chase whether former LSU teammate and current Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson will be one of the first guests on Chase's new "Chasing No. 1" show on Overtime.
"It's not finalized, but I might be pushing for it," Chase said, just before Jefferson joined Chase and Higgins on Adams' show.
Late in the first quarter of the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, Chase was playing defensive back when he returned a Jared Goff interception for a score, and celebrated with a backflip.
Chase and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow were interviewed during the second quarter of the 2026 Pro Bowl Games by ESPN reporter Michelle Beisner-Buck when Burrow jokingly jabbed Chase about his tendency to avoid tackling opponents.
Higgins had a catch over the middle from the Browns' Shedeur Sanders during the second quarter, and scored the AFC's extra point on a reception from Sanders. Later in the second quarter, Bengals backup quarterback Joe Flacco found Higgins for a touchdown reception.
