Which high school athletic program had the best year? Poll presented by White Plains Hospital

We're going to be naming the large school, small school and private school winners of the 2025-26 lohud Tom Whelan All-Sports Award winners in the coming days. It's an honor that goes to athletic programs that celebrated success and collected postseason hardware over the school year. Here are 10 schools under consideration. We're asking readers to review the list of championships these programs collected and vote for the one that stood above the rest.

The poll will close Monday, July 13, at 3 p.m. and is presented by White Plains Hospital.

Albertus Magnus​

The Falcons won NYSPHSAA championships in girls soccer and girls basketball and collected Section 1 titles in girls soccer, boys soccer and girls basketball.

Bronxville​

The Broncos won state football and girls cross country championships and sectional titles in football, field hockey, girls cross country, boys and girls indoor track and field, boys lacrosse and boys and girls outdoor track and field.

Iona Prep​

The Gaels won CHSAA and state Catholic school championships in football and lacrosse. Won a CHSAA City Championship in baseball and captured Westchester County Championships in outdoor track and wrestling.

Mamaroneck​

The Tigers celebrated eight sectional titles – football, field hockey, boys basketball, boys swimming, girls skiing, baseball, boys lacrosse and flag football.

North Rockland​

The Red Raiders won the state boys cross country championship and won sectional titles in girls soccer, girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls indoor track and field, girls bowling, competitive cheer and boys and girls outdoor track and field.

North Salem​

The Tigers won a NYSPHSAA title in boys soccer and celebrated Section 1 championships in boys soccer, girls volleyball and boys basketball.

Rye​

The Garnets delivered football, girls soccer, ice hockey and boys lacrosse state titles and won Section 1 championships in football, boys soccer, girls soccer, girls volleyball, boys basketball, baseball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse and boys golf.

Suffern​

The Mounties won a NYSPHSAA ice hockey title and collected Section 1 championships in ice hockey, boys and girls indoor track and field, girls lacrosse and boys and girls outdoor track and field.

Tuckahoe​

The Tigers captured Section 1 championships in football, girls soccer, girls basketball, competitive cheer, baseball and softball.

Yorktown​

The Huskers won a NYSPHSAA title in flag football and Section 1 championships in girls volleyball, boys volleyball, wrestling, boys lacrosse and flag football.
