The Texas A&M Aggies (20-15) will host the Tarleton Texans (15-22) at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park on Tuesday night. After sweeping South Carolina over the weekend, the Aggies are aiming to extend their winning streak to seven.
It's been an offensive onslaught from A&M over the last six games, scoring 80 runs during that stretch. Coach Michael Early talked about how they started to adjust a few players' swings, and Blake Binderup has been a prime example of the improvement. Binderup has earned SEC Player of the Week after a six-hit, eight RBI, two home-run weekend at home against South Carolina.
These teams have met 6 times, with Texas A&M winning every game. Over that period, Texas A&M has outscored the Texans 37-25. This will be another great opportunity for them to clean up a few more things in the box before facing No. 2 Arkansas in their next SEC series.
