After losing a heartbreaker in extra innings on Thursday night, the No. 16 Oregon Ducks evened the series a day later against the No. 17 USC Trojans at home, winning 4-3 in a tight, back-and-forth game on Friday night.

Now, we're set up for a pivotal rubber match on Saturday afternoon that could end up deciding in large part how the remainder of the season goes for both of these teams.

With Oregon and USC both playing for seeding in the Big Ten Tournament later this month, they are also focused on whether or not they can get into position to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament.
