The Indiana Fever are having a big week.
First, they had country music superstar Blake Shelton crash their practice and, now, they will face the Dallas Wings in the second of three preseason games on Thursday, April 30 (7 p.m. ET, ION).
The Fever won their first preseason game against the New York Liberty last week. Caitlin Clark had seven points, four assists and three rebounds in just under 17 minutes in the preseason opener on Saturday, a 109-91 win.
Clark was limited to 13 games in 2025 because of a rash of soft tissue injuries.
"Anytime you get to put on your uniform and lace up your shoes, you don't take that for granted, especially having come off of last year," Clark said afterward. "I didn't really get to do that very much.
"Coming into this game, just a lot of excitement, not a ton of nerves, just like, get out there, run around ... everybody's just trying to get their footing again, same goes for me."
The Dallas Wings have a new coach in Jose Fernandez, who coached USF for the previous 25 seasons. The Wings added shooting guard Azzi Fudd to their lineup as the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft. She joins former UConn teammate Paige Bueckers.
