The Auburn Tigers continue their stay in California at the Mary Nutter Classic with a late-night affair with the BYU Cougars. If you are wondering how to watch the action live, you have come to the right place.
Auburn (10-3) began play at the Mary Nutter Classic with a 10-5 win over No. 18 Oregon, before dropping a run-rule game to No. 9 UCLA, 23-1. Despite the loss to the Bruins, Auburn co-head coach Chris Malveaux is proud of the way his team competed.
“Even with the way the last game went, we were still 1-1 today against two good teams,” Malveaux said after Auburn's loss to UCLA. “We’re reminded again that we need to make sure we’re competing in all three areas of the game. We give ourselves a chance to win when we do that. If any area isn’t firing, it’s really going to hurt us.”
Friday, Auburn softball's focus shifts to BYU (2-9), which also went 1-1 on Thursday, losing to Cal State Northridge before bouncing back to shut out Hawaii in run-rule fashion. Hailey Morrow logged three hits and four RBI for the Cougars in its 8-0 win over Hawaii, while Giana Mares struck out 12 batters, giving up four hits in the circle. BYU will face Long Beach State at 5 p.m. CT, before facing Auburn late.
Below, you will find broadcast information for Auburn softball's game against BYU on Friday, as well as a projected starting lineup and a look at Auburn softball's 2026 schedule.
FloSoftball will stream coverage of the 2026 Mary Nutter Classic.
