It was a disastrous season on the hardwood for the Oregon Ducks men's basketball team, but the program is still hopeful to send at least one player to the next level in this summer's NBA draft.

Nate Bittle, who started 87 games in his five seasons in Eugene, could be the lone Duck selected in the NBA draft. Bittle participated in the G League Combine earlier this month and received some mixed reviews. Now, the former McDonald's All-American and third-team All-Big Ten member in 2025 has done all he can and will sit and wait to see if he is selected.

ESPN released its big board for the upcoming draft, ranking the top 100 prospects who could be selected in the 60-pick draft. Bittle checked in at No. 61 on ESPN's big board, placing him on the bubble to be picked.

The downsides for Bittle are clear. He has an injury history, and he is 23 years old, which is old by NBA rookie standards. However, he can be a stretch-five, standing at 7 feet tall and possessing a solid jump shot from distance. Bittle is also relentless defensively around the rim, which could earn him a reserve role quickly.

In his final season with the Ducks, Bittle averaged 16.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks per game. He connected on 46.5% of his shots from the field and 31.9% from distance. His size and shooting ability could allow a pro team to space the floor as a rare three-and-D big man.

If Bittle goes undrafted, a team will likely sign him to compete in the G League or on a two-way deal. Bittle will leave a big hole in Oregon's team next season, both on the floor and in the locker room, as well.
