After Witherspoon, Iupati, Peters, Redding, Ta'amu, Woodley and Leach, where do we sit on cap space remaining?

And now Redding at 2 years 6 million

I would imagine pretty close to dried up.. Although mre can be done to free up space if need be.

iupati is like 5 mili
peters 2.5
redding 2 mil
the cap room was about 14 before
so i guess now we have not much left

dont know why sendlein is still on the roster
keim said is a business and emotion must stay out.whats the reason he is still here, also lorenzo alexander who has like 1.8 mil

Sounds like the Palmer re-structure may be in the back pocket if an AP trade works out, it would free up just enough money based on what the rumored contract would be.

Average per year of those listed is about 21Mil. How much of that will be cap hits in 2015 I have no idea, but I think we had 17M going into FA, so I'd imagine we're pretty close to dried up. If Palmer restructures, I believe that free's up another 7M, much of which would go to Orakpo if he is indeed in the cards.

It's looking like a big name RB would mean restructuring CC and making some cuts. Maybe Sendlein, Zo Alexander, J. Carlson etc.

On Over the Cap they have us at 20.575M (thinks that includes Palmer's restructure).

So lets say the above numbers are correct except that i will keep weatherspoons at 4m and i added Woodley's 870K then we have spent 14.4 on the cap.

20.575 - 14.4 = 6.175 Mil left.

Now you can get alot more money by cutting dead weight on the team.

Lorenzo ALexander 1.55M
John Carlson 1.6M
Rashad Charmichael .660K
Chris Clemons .585K
Drew Butler .585K
Cameron Bradfield .585K
Robert Hughes .585K
Kenny Demens .585K
Those total are 6.895M

6.895M + 6.175M = 13.07M and we havent even cut Sedlein or re do Veldheers contracts for more money to spend.

SO we can really get who ever we want but it has to be the right one.

Don't forget Ta'amu, and Leach. Leach is just under 1Mil and Ta'amu is 1.5M

As we sit right now it looks to me like we have 3 - 4 M in space with the ability to free up a lot more if needed with CC or Veldheer re-structures and/or some cuts.

You can look numbers yet since we have no idea what is bonus and what is base this year. For all we know, they could all have $1 million cap hits this year. Once they are all files, sportrac will update.

Some cap figures are coming out now

Witherspoon - 3.85m
Peters - 2.76m
Redding - 2m
Woodley - 950k
Ta'amu - 1.54M
Leach - 850k

Total - 11.95m

That leaves 9m minus the Iupati deal.

I haven't been able to find anything on Iupati yet, I assume the hit in '15 will be around 5 - 6M

That plus rookie pool means done with available cap space... So other cuts or restructures would be needed for more moves obviously...

Why is Butler still on the roster? And what is Zasty's cap number if he makes it back?

I haven't heard anything about Shipley's deal other than it's a 2 year deal. Anyone heard anything?
