I watched a slowmo replay of Stanton's injury and his foot planted with #97 on his back pulling him forward. Looks like his knee is shredded. I pray to the evil football gods I'm wrong.
Against Seattle I would come out with Lindley in a run heavy offense (what else can you do?). It was impressive to see our team move the ball with 3 tight end sets against the Rams vaunted front 7. What if we put in sets featuring Thomas in a read option offense in the 2nd quarter? Seattle would be unprepared. My drunk ass has no idea how to proceed as the #1 seed in the NFC after week 15, and after losing our backup qb. Seriously though, has that ever happened?

Yea, it didn't look good, but I not sure what happened really.

To be honest, Lindley wasn't that bad under the circumstances. He's rusty and has not played with the first team at all. He looked ok and threw some good and bad passes, but not all were bad. If they decide to make him the starter, he has a week and a half to get on the same page with the first team. To bad its going to be against Seattle, but if the oline and can play as well as they did tonight, then he may have a chance.

We are stuck with Lindley

He did look lost last night and was very rusty. But he did make some throws.

Problem is there is tape on him and the DC will game plan to shut him down and confuse him. It could get uglier and not better.

Too bad LT is so out of sync. I would like to see what he could do, but like BA said he is not ready.

7 int's....0 TD's........ Ryan Lindley's career marks.....

gonna have to trust the staff on this one I guess.....if it were me, I would have Tom Moore waking up LT at 6am this morning and climbing in his back pocket for the next seven days. At least LT has a TD,...stronger arm,...and better wheels.

really concerns me though that LT was listed as the #2,...but when the time came, they passed him over for 0 TD's......7 INT's........

I thought the same thing. He wasnt even the second string when the game started. They said Thomas was listed as the backup and he even started to warm up when Stanton went down.

I am done dumping on this team because of injuries...it just makes me look foolish when they keep winning. So I will wait and see what BA and Tom Moore can do with Lindley and/or Thomas under center.

To be fair to Lindley though, he was an unprepared 6th round rookie tossed to the dogs by Whiz in the middle of the most inept offense in recent NFL history.

Is he better now? Who knows, but I know I feel a lot more confident with this group running the show.
