CLEMSON — Clemson basketball is set to make the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
The Tigers lost to Duke in the ACC Tournament semifinals on March 13. Still, Clemson (24-10) finished tied for fourth in the ACC standings to make March Madness despite having its largest roster overhaul under coach Brad Brownell.
Clemson achieved this with no All-ACC players as the Tigers relied on their collection of three returning players, four freshmen and six transfers.
The Tigers beat projected NCAA Tournament teams, including North Carolina, Miami, Louisville and Georgia, to put Brownell on track to be come the third coach in program history to make three consecutive NCAA Tournaments.

The Tigers are a No. 8 seed in Joe Lunardi's ESPN bracket predictions. He has Clemson playing No. 9 Saint Louis in Buffalo, New York.
The winner would face either No. 1 Michigan or No. 16 Idaho/Lehigh in the Midwest region.
CBS Sports projects Clemson as a No. 8 seed. In this projection, the Tigers would face No. 9 TCU in the West. The winner would face either No. 1 Arizona or No. 16 UMBC.

Ommen projects Clemson as a No. 7 seed in the West region. He has the Tigers facing No. 10 Missouri in Buffalo, New York. The winner would face No. 2 Michigan State or No. 15 Queens.
Fletcher has Clemson as a No. 8 seed in the West region. The Tigers would face No. 9 Iowa in San Diego, and the winner would face No. 1 Arizona or No. 16 Idaho.
