Clemson basketball needs to win the ACC Tournament to make the NCAA Tournament.

The Tigers (31-24) lost eight of 10 conference series to be the No. 15 seed in the ACC Tournament.

Clemson went 10-20 in ACC play, causing the Tigers to not be featured in NCAA Tournament projections. As a result, Clemson's only path to make the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight season is winning five straight games in the ACC Tournament.

The six-day tournament runs May 19-24 at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Here's who Clemson will face and the team's path to the ACC Tournament championship.

Who will Clemson face in ACC Tournament?

Clemson will face No. 10 seed Notre Dame on May 19 (5 p.m. ET), and the winner will face Virginia Tech on May 20 (5 p.m. ET).

Notre Dame swept Clemson in their three-game series in March.

Clemson also lost its three-game series against Virginia Tech in May.

Clemson baseball prediction, picks in ACC Tournament

Clemson has had success in the ACC Tournament under coach Erik Bakich, winning it in 2023 and making the championship game last year.

However, this year's path is too daunting, having to win five games to win the tournament and make the NCAA Tournament. Clemson will make it past Round 1 before falling in the second round to end its 2026 season.
