When does the 2025 NFL draft begin? Here is a look at the dates and times of the event, along with when the Jacksonville Jaguars will be picking.
The Jaguars come into this year's draft with 10 total draft picks, which gives them quite a bit of flexibility, which is what every team wants in the NFL draft. With that many selections, they have the ability to go in several different directions in the early going, rather than feeling like they have to address a certain need right away.
Understandably so, the popular pick in mock drafts for the Jaguars has been Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham, although as of late, at least on the outside, there has been more buzz around Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty. I also think that trading down is in play as well, although as Ian Rapoport described recently, finding a trade partner in the first round may not be easy.
Along with defensive tackle and running back, throughout the three days, wide receiver, offensive line, defensive end, and the secondary are all some of the more pressing needs, to varying degrees, that the Jaguars have.
GM James Gladstone signing 10 outside free agents helped raise the floor of the roster, now it's time to utilize the draft to address the ceiling.
Round 1 - Thursday, April 24th: 8 pm ET
Rounds 2-3 - Friday, April 25th: 6 pm ET
Rounds 4-7 - Saturday, April 27th: 12 pm ET
