The 2026 NFL season might be over a month away, but it's never too early for football.
The popular HBO "Hard Knocks" show has returned, with an interesting twist this offseason.
While usually subjecting teams that did not make the playoffs or had not been on the show before, the behind-the-scenes access will flip the script and instead follow the Seattle Seahawks, the defending Super Bowl champions.
Fans will get an exclusive, in-depth look at training camp centered around former Jet-turned-Super Bowl champion in quarterback Sam Darnold and the reigning Offensive Player of the Award winner wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. It will also feature players throughout the Seahawks roster as they try to become the second team (Kansas City Chiefs in 2024) to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

The first episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks" with the Seattle Seahawks is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 4. The premiere episode and all five parts this season will air at 9 p.m.
Every "Hard Knocks" episode will be broadcast on HBO. "Hard Knocks" can also be streamed on HBO Max with a Sling subscription.

While usually a kept secret, it was announced at the annual league meeting earlier this offseason that the New England Patriots, the Super Bowl 60 runner-up to the Seahawks, will make their first ever appearance on the behind-the-scenes show next August.
