Agreed. Paying for past performance, not future is what gets these teams in trouble. At $40M, Browns should expect to be in the SB mix not picking in the top 2 of the draft.

I like Myles but not a fan of how he handled the situation. Of course money talks, but if the Browns don’t win a playoff game the next 2-3 years, then this deal wasn’t worth it imo. They could’ve gotten multiple picks for him and rebuilt.
