Alex Honnold -- the all-time great climber known for his free solo ascents that ended up a part of an Oscar-winning documentary -- is about to do something absolutely incredible.
He's going to climb Taipei 101 in Taiwan without ropes... and he's doing it live. It's trickier than you think.
"Buildings are steeper than most rock faces," he told Tudum. "Most rock faces, even the ones that look vertical, aren’t actually vertical, or they’re not vertical for the whole way — whereas the building is vertical the whole way, so it’s cool. It’s just a difference, and it’s exciting."
