What kind of candy are you giving out this Halloween?

What kind of candy do you give to trick-or-treaters?

So, what do you like to give to the trick-or-treaters? Are you one of those people that buys candy you don't like so you won't eat the leftovers? Or do you buy your favorite and eat it before the kids come?

Spills your guts!

Haven't had any trick or treaters for a few years. :maninground:

When I lived at my house in Jersey, I would get about 60 to 80, depending on the weather and what day of the week it was.

I didn't have any here until I got the townhouse. Last year, I think we had about 50.

Of course, we decorate the house a ton and we dress up, so I guess the trick-or-treaters know to stop by. :)

Ditto. We've taken to buying them closer to Halloween each year to decrease the likelihood of running out before the big day.

So what. Its my kid so you WILL overlook it or face arrest next time in Vegas. :mulli:

Psht - just show this to the LV tourism authority - you are only allowed to ticket enough to get a little bit of money for out of town revenue, you don't enforce anything serious enough to stop them from coming back and spending more money

Shane knows this - which is why they put him at first and last contact - the airport

we'll be at a friends house this year .... past couple of years we did Play Doh containers ..... almost as tempting to eat as leftover candy

Not a grouch-a-potamus but we do keep our lights off on Halloween and do not give out candy. Usually stay in and watch a movie or go out and watch a movie.

What about the most loathed candy of any trick-or-treater? The nasty peanut butter taffy in the black and orange wax wrapper. Yuck!

I actually liked those. They were like a poor man's Bit O Honey. The only problem was about half the time you ended up eating part of the wrapper. Didn't like the wrapper.
