Great Thread- many great memories on that list.

Nothing can match the NFC Champions season and the playoff games involved to get to the Super Bowl.

Outside of that playoff run, here are my top 5:
1. 1998 Wildcard playoff win at Dallas (Domination in Big D)
2. 1997 regular season win vs Dallas (Kent Graham getting mobbed by fans after the game- LOL)
3. 2008 regular season win vs Dallas (blocked punt in OT, unreal)
4. 1998 regular season game vs Dallas (Cards lose but dramatic comeback from being down 0-28 in 2nd half)
5a & 5b. Both 1984 regular season matchups vs Redskins. (both games were crazy and came down to the wire with each team winning one at buzzer)

That 97 win over Dallas is probably my 2nd favorite. I was in HS and my best friend had season tickets with his grandfather, and I by luck of the draw got to go to that game. Cowboys fans were drunk and talking so much mess the entire game. I remember rushing the field, and watching them tear down the goal post, and then getting to talk so much trash on the way out.

The Cards/Packers game from last year was by far the best game I've seen the Cardinals be in, what a ride it was. But the feeling of the NFC Championship game is hard to beat.

Still though, my favorite moment ever as a Cardinal fan is late in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl, Warner completes a slant to Fitz, and there's daylight in front of him. That run was by far the best moment I've ever seen as a Cardinal fan.

Of the list presented I would have picked the NFC championship game but I did other. I think the Super Bowl game should have been one of the choices. I mean we were in the SUPER BOWL. Who would have thought that?
It is one of the choices. Third up from the bottom.

And remember, it took a blown call by the officials late in the game to preserve the win for Dallas.

What made the NFC title game special for me is that living in South Jersey, I'm in the heart of Eagles country. A lot of guys I work with are Eagle fans as are my wife, my dad, and oldest brother. The first time in my life I got to gloat.

I would like to throw in as an honorable mention the 1987 game in STL against Tampa. Down 28-3 in the 4th quarter only to come back and win. It's featured as a replay game on ESPN NFL 2K5.

I get goosebumps and misty-eyed whenever I think of that.

I always think.....if he got tackled, we may have won that game.

Eagles.

The stadium was electric. I was drunk with happiness, and didn't have a beer in me. The absolute most beautiful girl in the world was sitting in front of me, my bro, my son and his friend. At least that day she was the most beautiful girl in the world, but everything was beautiful that day. Near the end of the game, I was standing on my seat and people behind me were complaining they couldn't see (we were at the North End Zone where the seating is too flat when they put in all 57 rows or whatever it is, the ushers were getting ugly. She let me stand on her seat in front of my brother (who didn't complain of course - he my brother) to see the Final play on the opposite end when Docket ended up with the ball running around and I was sure he would fumble and the Eagles would run 80 yards for the tying score. Bedlam ensued, of course. My brother took a picture of me and framed it with some other key pictures that day. You can almost see 30 years of pain and agony escaping my body in that picture. It hangs on my wall next to me as I type this. I'll never forget that moment (or that girl).

There is a Fathead mural of that moment. I bought it, and it will hang in my almost-complete basement manroom. In my mind, I have convinced myself that the game ended on that play, the play completed an amazing season.

God i love this team

Don't know why but thats funny. :yeahthat:

Probably because we haven't heard it a lot this season. :)

They really thought they were gonna walk right into the Super Bowl. How wrong they were. :D

I popped 610 on my computer and listened to the post game. Nothing warms the heart more than hearing Eagle fans cry. Every year they are Super Bowl contenders. Even during the Bubby Brister days and every year, they're sent home crying.

I think the Tampa game was blacked out on TV. I remember listening to the game, went to the gym when they were getting killed, came back out to my car and they had won the game.

For post season, the NFWC Game has to be #1, but I truly enjoyed the Packers game more for what happened on the field.

For regular season, I still get chills over the OT victory over Dallas when we blocked the punt into the endzone for a win. That single game pretty much ended the Cowboys' season.

My brother didn't call me for three days straight (although I called him on the way out of the stadium). He was happy for me that the Cards made it (he's a sympathizer), but had a hard time getting to that place as an Eagles fan. :)
