Cowboys '98/Eagles '2008...a tie.

I've lived in Dallas my whole life & been a 40 yr fan, so any victory against them is great...but a playoff win in "God's stadium" was special!!! I knew one day the Cards would make it to the Super Bowl & I got a little faint when DD picked up the lose lateral to clinch the Halas trophy.

Those are some of my favorite games, but the 2008 nfc championship game is my all time favorite.

1. They beat an old NFC East rival
2. They beat Donvan McNabb. The same dude who threw for 4 touchdowns with a broken ankle.
3. They went to the Super-Bowl and i was alive to witness the Cardinals play in a Super-bowl.

NFC Championship vs Philadelphia
Yep, because of what that game meant for the franchise. The best feeling I've ever had after a game. Just watched it again the other night.

The wildcard game vs Green Bay last year was probably the best and most entertaining game to watch, however.

Also gotta give an honorable mention to the Cowboys playoff game of 1998. I still pop that disc in every once in a while and re-watch it. Still enjoyable.

It's hard to pass on the postseason run to the Super Bowl but the playoff win in Dallas was just so special.

Carolina. We sucked on the road (especially the east cost), they were 8-0 at home blah blah blah. Remember the score at the half? Remember the announcers stumbling over their words trying to explain it and back peddling at the same time? It was classic!!!!

Besides, in the NFC Championship game at home, I really thought we would win it!

For me, honestly, it's the Carolina game........it was my birthday that night, and my stag, and we went for some good food, and I remember drunkenly screaming and shouting every time they scored and being escorted out.......and then we went back to the hotel, watched and drank, got excited..........AWESOME night. Plus, the trademark Fitzgerald TD pose from that game.

However, now that I think about it, I remember a TON from the Chargers game (surprisingly) which included me bruising my hand with pumps of my fist in the air and then sliding and falling on my buddy's floor when Jacke kicked the FG as I ran around the room.

True it is hard to top that game. I was at the '97 Cowboys game and the '03 Vikings game and they were great times but mostly because we sucked and it was such a surprise to win.

The NFC Championship game in the new stadium with the entire country watching...nothing can compare to that. Wish I knew how to upload Flip Videos. Have 3 or 4 of the post game celebration. I got phone calls and emails and text messages from people I hadn't heard from in years telling me how happy they were for me. Just an unbelievable experience.

I picked the Eagles NFC game. I seriously cried at the end of that I was so happy. And being there live in person was just that much more special.

I do love watching the Packers/Cards OT game though. Thanks to a kind poster on here, I have a DVD of it and I watch it periodically. That was one HELL of a game.

Dallas playoff game. It kept hope alive for 10 years. I'm still pissed we kneeled on it to end the game instead of punching it in. :bang:

Gotta go with the Panthers win! It was and still is the Cardinals first ever playoff road victory.

If we don't win that one there is no NFC Championship game the next week at home. As stated no one gave us a chance. We thoroughly dominated them and it also ended a string of frustrating losses to Carolina.

Truly a major win and a breakthrough to the other side for this long suffering franchise and its fans!

it's REALLY tough to choose between the Jacke FG (does anyone else remember Craig Weilihan throwing a 30 yard TD on 4TH AND 20 with 25 seconds left to tie that game?)... the "DOMINATION IN DALLAS" (still have that Sports page with that title and a huge picture of Jamir Miller CRUSHING Troy Aikman)... the Panthers game which was probably the most SHOCKING Cardinals game ever, I mean flat out domination, as a road dog... the Eagles game, which I KNEW we were going to win, but which I cried at... or the sheer RIDICULOUSNESS that was the Packers game.

Really, they're all up there... the SD game was our first taste of success... the Dallas game was beating up the bully... the Panthers game shocking... the NFC Title game heaven on earth and the Dansby ending, the most ridiculous ending to a game I've ever seen (and the best spontaneuous multiple level crowd explosion of all time).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wt6uOV1zkew

I mean, there's three different levels of scream here: Level 1) Before the play starts, people screaming just to scream, most of us with barely any voice left 2) People somehow getting their voices back screaming INCREDIBLY loud as Rodgers gets hit and 3) EAR-PIERCING EXPLOSIVE SCREAMING as people realize Dansby has the ball and is going to score.

That play is my favorite PLAY of all time. That I can say with complete and utter certainty. I can just listen to the sound without and the picture and sit back and smile, smile, smile.

I chose the game that got us to the Superbowl, but the game on Christmas against the Cowgirls is in my top 5.

For me it's the Eagles win to put us in the superbowl hands down, no question. Just the feeling and realization of knowing that my team, the team I had been teased as a kid for loving, the ARIZONA CARDINALS were actually going to the Superbowl and to be at the game with my Dad and all the fans crying and hugging and dancing around.

It was literally a dream come true. I had imagined what that would be like so many times and it was better than I had ever imagined.

The amazing part was Moose Johnston. The entire game all he kept on harping on is how we were going to blow it somehow. I half expected them to show the booth and he wearing a Panthers jersey.

I chose the NFC title game for obvious reasons but the Chargers win is special because I was there for that one.

NFC Championship; not even close. Big game against the team I hate the most. If the Eagles had retained that lead and won the game, it would have been the worst game of all time.

A lot of great choices. For me it was the NFC championship game. Do you believe in miracles? Cards get off to a big lead and then in typical Cards fashion not only let the Eagles back into the game but they take the lead. And then there was THE DRIVE. Eating up the clock, willing ourselves down the field. THT picks up a 1st down on 4th down. THT refusal to be stopped at the goal line. Q blowing up on the sidelines but that doesn't matter because we weren't derailed.

The D still has to make a stop and THEY DO. How many SOC's traditions were broken in that game?

The Cards make it to the SB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
