Barcelona’s hunt for a new striker to replace Robert Lewandowski is not going well after the club received the news of Eli Junior Kroupi’s surgery that rules him out for 3-4 months.
Kroupi was Barça’s top alternative to their dream signing, Julián Álvarez, which looks more and more distant every day. Atlético Madrid simply refuse to sell and Barça may have to deal with legal ramifications of their pursuit, so things look a little bleak as of now.
The club is reportedly looking at alternatives and names such as Darwin Núñez, Dusan Vlahovic, Victor Osimhen and others have been heavily linked, while Hoffenheim prospect Fisnik Asllani has put a potential transfer to RB Leipzig on hold as he waits for a dream move to Camp Nou.
