For real. Kulabafi replaced Jim Dray as the lower-middle bottom of the roster player that I inexplicably defended and promoted.

You mitched Jim Dray.

Definition of mitching: To promote scrubs on an NFL roster, even though the player is nearly worthless.

To be fair, Mitch mitches on like every non-roster invitee. I was down with Jim Dray for like four years, and then moved over to Stepfan when I fell for Chopper's endless support.

And Jim Dray has NFL value! He's the Stepfan Taylor of tight ends !

Kind of unfair in my opinion, funny as it is. At least K9 evaluates dudes. Will select those players he thinks can make an impact. Mitch just picks 90 FA's out of 100 and 80 out of a possible 90 draft choices and says I told you, I win. Totally different.

Not to mention, you can discuss those picks with K9 and razz him about it and he's cool about it because he knows football. Try razzing Mitch about anything. Lol. He gets all butthurt and serious. He can't even admit he's wrong. K9 does.

Everyone is wrong about tons of stuff when it comes to football. Some people can take it and some not. It's rather easy to see who knows what they're talking about between the two.

He did. Mitching is now a verb. Nice. I too wish Taylor would get used more. I honestly don't understand it. I think he pissed BA off. Lol

It was part of our Canadian contigent, the dearly departed/self banned Crazy Canuck, who named those that always agreed with Mitch, The Mitchettes. I think I remember K9 referring to a certain poster as Mitch Lite as well.

Guernsey seems quite similar to CC in his approach/reproach. I've sometimes wondered if he could have moved accross the pond and resurrected himself.….. Nah that's too conspiracy for me.....

Please say no offense taken, Guernsey

(Edit: Darkside often talks too much)

(Richard Simmons is often on my NFL network shows and it irritates me. What does some gay workout dude have to do with the NFL at all, I ask you? I take offense and feel offended because it makes me wonder if I'm in the demographic of old, balding 1980s washed up totally gay dude's desperate for attention--am I their target market? I mean, ****)

I think it's more that he's just not that good. When pass blocking is your best attribute as a RB, it probably doesn't make for a very long NFL career.

He can block, but he's big and slow with no moves. May as well put Cooper back there :). Or move Taylor to LG :).

That's what happens when the Cardinals front office does something that is characterized by national media as "sneaky."

This thread is about the FO, not the player.

Was it the national media or just a San Diego columnist that called it sneaky?
In any case, why would signing a player off another team's practice squad ever be considered sneaky? It happens all the time.

I've been wondering since the first game. Taylor has done his job in every game and yet his action is diminishing not increasing. There has to be some reason I am just not sure what that reason is.

Hopefully Grice is good because it sure seems like Arians is intent on not playing Taylor that much. It's funny because it's also apparent when the media folks talk to the Cards coaches, they're told they love Taylor. Week after week we're told what a good blocker he is, that he runs hard and that he can catch the ball, unless they're just giving their own opinion the media is getting that from the coaches. then he barely gets on the field in the actual games.

Really figured with Dwyer gone that would change, didn't.

I think Taylor is limited - he is a very smart player, just not a great runner. I think he will stick all year, maybe even next year, but doesn't run well enough to give him a lot of actual touches. That makes him a situational #3 RB who gets promoted in a game, but not likely in a season (like Jim Dray :)

Taylor had a couple of key receptions and runs tough. His pass blocking is very good. I like him and think he could get more touches.

Nice signing but in all honesty there's not going to be much of an opportunity to shine as long as Ellington is healthy and our three WR's are still on the field.

What if they line Ellington up on the los & put Grice in the backfield for a designed play? Who are they going to cover? They won't know if it's a run or pass play. Thats if Grice can pass block.
