There's a theory among some NFL fans that the color of the Super Bowl logo tells us in advance which teams will be playing in the big game.
Well, of note for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Super Bowl 61 logo contains some teal.
As noted in an article by ESPN in Feb. of 2025, this all began with Super Bowl LVI when the Bengals and Rams faced off, and the logo contained some orange and yellow.
The following year, the logo color contained red and green, and then the Super Bowl meeting was between the Chiefs and the Eagles.
Last year's Super Bowl rematch between the Chiefs and Eagles again had a logo with green and red hues.
So what does next year's Super Bowl logo look like?
Of course, there is nothing to this other than some fun conversations. However, there is no reason not to think that the Jaguars can't put themselves in a position to make a playoff run in 2026.
In Year 1 under Liam Coen, the Jaguars won 13 games and the AFC South. During their eight-game winning streak to close out the regular season, both the offense and defense were operating as two of the better units in football.
A strong foundation has been laid, and that will create a jumping-off point heading into 2026. The Jaguars are already lightyears ahead of where they were last offseason. Rather than implementing new schemes and reshaping the roster, they can now build upon what's been established.
