Bryson DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf is completely up in the air right now.
DeChambeau’s current contract with LIV Golf is due to expire at the end of the current season.
And there has been no positive news about the 32-year-old American potentially signing a new deal with the league.
DeChambeau suggested on Friday that he would like to play PGA Tour events once again in the future.
However, Bryson DeChambeau wants to compete in LIV Golf events as well.

The problem for the two-time US Open champion is that there are no guarantees that LIV Golf will operate at the very highest end of the professional game anymore.
Sure, Scott O’Neil has managed to secure new investment for LIV Golf, but the league will surely operate under certain financial constraints going forward.
One thing is for sure: the big names who joined LIV Golf back in 2022 had a completely different vision for what the league has now become.
What Bryson DeChambeau claimed about LIV Golf’s future back in 2022
In 2022, DeChambeau took part in his first ever press conference after joining LIV Golf.
The two-time US Open winner was asked whether he had any concerns about the long-term viability of the league.
“As of right now, there’s a contract in place for, I think, all of us,“ he replied.
“Again, it came to a place where the pros outweighed the cons heavily on our end, or at least on my end, and we made that decision for the future, and I think a lot of us have made that decision.
“Not only that, but to innovate, I’ve always been an innovator. I’ve always liked to do things a little differently, and being a part of something special and unique and different with the team atmosphere is really cool.

“Being able to sometimes rely on other people when you don’t have your best and then them rely on you when they don’t have their best is really awesome.
“And, again, I think as time goes on, you’ll see how much fun everybody is having out here and the skill set that we provide to the public out here. We’re great golfers. We’ll continue to improve our games. I know that, and we’ll work harder because of the structure that’s set up.
“We want to provide the best for our teams and for the future of golf.“
LIV Golf hasn’t lived up to Bryson DeChambeau’s expectations
DeChambeau, like so many other golfers who joined LIV, clearly believed that the league would challenge the PGA Tour and maybe one day eclipse it.
That obviously hasn’t turned out to be the case.
The PGA Tour has won almost every little battle with LIV Golf, and it’s clear to see that they have now won the war.
Even if LIV Golf does continue to operate in 2027, which it most likely will, it will be on a completely different scale to the first four years of its existence.
Whether Bryson DeChambeau will be prepared to hang around and play for less money and in fewer tournaments on LIV Golf remains to be seen.
