"Reality Check - How Science Deniers Threaten Our Future" by Donald R. Prothero.
The part about the anti-vaccination hysteria is eye opening

I read A great old book A tree grows in Brooklyn. Great story well written about our immigrants at the turn of the 19th century. I'm now reading a very good book called the book thief. So far great read! It's in the movies from the book so I will not see it till I finish.

Finished Child 44, Secret Speech and Agent 6.

I loved the series.

Read Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls - autobiography about a screwed up family, with some time spent in Phoenix ~ eh, okay.

Reading Lone Survivor now by Marcus Luttrel.

On deck next - possibly Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Anyone read it and recommend it?

Read the first 3 and then waited forever between releases, purchased but never read the rest. Loved the first 3. Going to reread from the beginning someday.

It's been awhile but I remember the first 4 or 5 being good. The last couple got a little too cumbersome and are just odd.

I haven't read the new one that came out a year or two ago which takes place in the middle, or even before, the rest of the series. It didn't seem necessary to me as the first 7 already made a complete story.

The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure. Good read set in Pariz during Nazi occupation about an architect who finally gets a dream job designing buildings ( factories) for the nazis and during this tenure is hired secretly by a gentile to design secret hiding places within different places to first hide a wealthy jew, then others as well. Character development was a little disjointed to me at times, but overall a page turner.
