It would be great to fit Freeney into the 53 man roster but even greater if we didn't need him because Okafor and Riddick have stepped up. Plus our CAP space is not great and we need to do something about the C and OT positions.

Yup. He is going to sign another 1 year deal after training camp is over. Players his age tend to avoid the preseason as much as possible and work out on their own
