WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Class 1A athletes from across Texas gathered in Wichita Falls this week in preparation for the Texas Six-Man Coaches Association All-Star Games, featuring the best of Texas football and basketball.

Football:
Division I | West All-Stars def. East All-Stars 54-20
The West squad rolled to a 54-20 victory over the East in Saturday’s Texas Six-Man Coaches Association All-Star Game, using a dominant first half to build an insurmountable lead.
Representing Texoma, Saint Jo’s Lee Yeley took the field for the East team, while Newcastle’s London Martinez suited up for the West.
After forcing an opening three-and-out, the West defense set the tone early. Water Valley’s Brylan Naylor came untouched on a blitz and recorded a sack to keep the East offense off balance.
On the final play of the first quarter, the East looked to strike deep, but the pass was tipped into the air and Valley’s Carson Tucker came away with the interception as the West carried an 8-0 lead into the second quarter.
The West offense took over from there. Facing first-and-15, Water Valley quarterback Landon Lacy fired downfield to Nazareth’s Blaise Snead, who hauled in a juggling catch for a 30-yard gain.
One play later, Ira’s Brandt Cox found a crease up the middle, bounced outside and raced 14 yards for a touchdown, extending the West advantage to 28-0.
The West continued to control the game the rest of the way, earning the 54-20 victory.
