Wyndham Clark won his second U.S. Open title on Sunday at Shinnecock Hills, but perhaps the best part of his celebration came a couple minutes after his winning putt dropped.

Clark spent time with his girlfriend, Emily Tanner, and then a bunch of his friends and caddie in the immediate aftermath of his winning putt dropping. Then he turned and began his walk to the clubhouse when he saw his father.

Randall Clark, a Colorado resident, took a redeye from Denver to New York to be there for his son's second U.S. Open victory. Clark has no idea his dad was in attendance until the celebration afterward. On Father's Day, talk about a special gift for both of them.

"Happy Father's Day, pops. I love you so much and I'm just glad we can share this together," Clark told NBC's Mike Tirico.
