For Wyndham Clark, Sunday was certainly a Father's Day that he won't forget anytime soon.

The PGA golfer did not know that his dad, Randall, was going to be at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Sunday until the tournament was over with Clark greeting his family after the major championship.

Randall, who had open-heart surgery in 2024, was not expected to be in Southampton, New York, to watch Wyndham's final round in person. But without telling his son, Randall reportedly took a red eye to New York and got to witness his son win the U.S. Open for the second time.

The scene on the 18th green was especially awesome with Wyndham celebrating with family and friends only to turn around and see his dad.

So cool.

The final round wasn't easy for Clark as he nearly lost a six-stroke advantage. But clutch play on 18 proved to be all he needed to keep Sam Burns on the practice range. And now, he gets to share that win with his dad.
