In a transfer portal class that was ranked No. 1, the undisputed gem was former Auburn Tigers wide receiver Cam Coleman. So far in spring practice, the newest Longhorns wideout has been showing why he's so highly thought of.
Coleman has racked up 97 catches, 1,306 yards and 13 TDs throughout his two years at Auburn. He quickly became one of the best 50/50 ball catchers in the country and has a long highlight reel. His height and leaping ability make him a threat at any time in the red zone.
Having a true "X" wide receiver, the outside WR, opens up Steve Sarkisian's offense for other areas, like the run game, to thrive. Sark has been very impressed with his new No. 1 receiver so far.
In spring practice on Wednesday, Coleman gave everyone a glimpse of what Longhorns fans are hoping for. The Alabama native leaped high into the air to bring down the football over early enrollee freshman Samari Matthews, who had good coverage. You really just have to see it.

"When he went into the portal, it was like 'ok, this is probably going to be a priority for a lot of teams in the country.' The biggest thing that came out of it for me is what an awesome individual this is, an awesome kid. He hasn't disappointed since he's arrived. He came here with real intentions and a real reason of understanding that he wants to compete for a National Championship and he wants to put himself in the best position to get ready for the NFL. He came to a pro-style offense for a reason." - Texas Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian
