July 17 (UPI) -- Apple TV is giving a glimpse of the new docuseries The Dynasty: UConn Huskies.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the three-part documentary Friday ahead of its release Aug. 21.
Hailing from Skydance Sports and directed by Matthew Hamacheck and Erica Sashin, The Dynasty explores the success of the University of Connecticut women's college basketball team under head coach Geno Auriemma.
The documentary features archival footage, along with interviews with the 2025 National Championship team and influential figures from multiple generations of UConn basketball.
KK Arnold, Auriemma, Sue Bird, Paige Bueckers, Jim Calhoun, Swin Cash, Chris Dailey, Mickie DeMoss, Jana El Alfy, Jamelle Elliott, Azzi Fudd, Jeff Goldberg, Sally Jenkins, Steve Kerr, Rebecca Lobo, Jackie MacMullan, Maya Moore, Alex Philippou, Shea Ralph, Semeka Randall, Jennifer Rizzotti, Breanna Stewart, Sarah Strong, Diana Taurasi and Tamika Williams-Jeter make appearances.
The Dynasty "digs into the obsession, pressure, sacrifices and ruthless culture that transformed a basketball program into an unrivaled phenomenon," an official synopsis reads.
