After some restructures were made to the June 19 official visit weekend, Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies have added another 2027 prospect to the slate for that weekend, punter Nolan Balke.
Balke, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound product of Casteel High School in Queen Creek, Arizona, received an offer from special teams coordinator Chris Petrilli on June 8 after the program's specialist camp earlier in the month, and will now return to Montlake for an official visit on June 19.
However, while extending a scholarship offer to a specialist usually gives a school the inside track in their recruitment, Petrilli has some competition. Shortly after the Huskies offered, Fisch's former program, the Arizona Wildcats, also extended a scholarship to Balke, who is ranked as the No. 1 punter in the 2027 class by Chris Sailer Kicking, and set an official visit with him for June 12.
"Nolan is an extremely talented high school punting prospect," his profile on Sailer's website reads. "He is a great-looking athlete with a live leg. He has an ideal frame for a D1-level punter. Nolan punts for (a) nice combination of distance and hang time."
"He averages 45+ yards, with 4.6(second)+ hang time. A competitor who does well under pressure. There is huge D1 potential here."
Senior Hunter Green is projected to be Washington's punter for the 2026 season in his final year of eligibility. If Balke were to wind up choosing the Huskies, he would have an opportunity to compete with junior Luke Dunne right away for the starting job in 2027.

After a great conversation with @CoachPetrilli I am blessed to say that I have received my 1st division 1 offer to the University of Washington!@IcemanCoaching@AZKicking@steverausch17@CasteelFootball@therealbeadle@KohlsKicking@ThePuntFactory@RenKokScoutingpic.twitter.com/kLuFxpN0UK
