The Washington Huskies have invited another quarterback to campus for an official visit over the June 5 weekend in three-star Caden Jones.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound product of Crean Lutheran High School in Southern California, who holds 40 offers and is considering the Huskies alongside Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, North Carolina, and UCLA, has been a longtime target of Jedd Fisch's coaching staff. However, with four-star Blake Roskopf already committed, the Huskies appear to have some ground to make up with the No. 36 quarterback in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports' rankings.

Jones has an official visit set with California on June 15, and also holds crystal balls from both 247Sports and Rivals to choose the Arizona Wildcats.

However, that hasn't deterred Fisch's pursuit of the talented athlete, who also holds an offer from basketball coach Danny Sprinkle. With some long-term uncertainty at the quarterback position, adding a pair of high schoolers at the position could help the Huskies prepare for the post-Demond Williams Jr. era, whenever that day may arrive, or for a signal caller (maybe two) to hit the transfer portal at the conclusion of the 2026 season.

After an injury shortened his sophomore year, Jones bounced back nicely during his junior campaign, but still appears to be a little further away from the field compared to Roskopf, who announced his commitment to UW in early April. However, he shows off the mobility and arm talent that Fisch and quarterbacks coach JP Losman desire to run the offense effectively.

If the Huskies were able to get a commitment and eventual signature from Jones, it would be the second time in Fisch's three years on Montlake that he would secure a pair of high school quarterbacks, after adding three-star prospects Treston Kini McMillan and Dash Beierly in 2025.
