Over the past month, Basha High School four-star interior offensive lineman DaJohn Yarborough has gone coast to coast, visiting several college football programs with one final trip left this coming weekend to see Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies.

The 6-foot-5, 340-pound junior from Chandler, Arizona, has taken official visits to Mississippi State, California, and most recently Florida State, logging thousands of miles and experiencing what each school has to offer. His last flight on Friday, June 19, will take the No. 26-ranked interior offensive lineman and No. 9 prospect from Arizona, per 247Sports' Composite rankings, back to familiar territory, with it being his third visit to UW this year.

Huskies' first-year offensive line coach Michael Switzer paid a visit to the Grand Canyon State in May for an in-home visit with Yarborough before he left on his first official visit to Starkville on May 29. Since then, Yarborough has dazzled in Berkeley and chauffeured around Tallahassee, each offering a different, unique pitch.

One of the phrases from Cal HC Tosh Lupoi has been “fire it up”

Well look at the way the recruits get welcomed on their official visits by a fired up group of coaches led by the man himself

UW has one offensive line commitment thus far in the 2027 class from four-star Valor Christian High School center Reis Russell, but could be poised to sign as many as four when all is said and done in December.

Three other uncommitted offensive line targets, along with Russell and Yarborough, are set to be on campus this coming weekend as the Huskies' staff close out spring recruiting before the summer dead period. However, of the pair of uncommitted interior OL targets still on the board, Yarborough has the clearest path to joining the Colorado native Russell as the two guard/center linemen Switzer and Fisch take in this year's class.

Yarborough would give UW five commits from Arizona in the '27 cycle, with the potential for that number to reach as high as seven with Casteel High School punter Nolan Balke and Mountain View offensive tackle Tye Kennedy, son of ex-Husky lineman Lincoln Kennedy, also accompanying the Basha product on official visits to UW this weekend.

On the heels of signing only one true interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class, Ah Deong Yang out of Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Switzer and Fisch are in need of a few incoming replenishments, with Yarborough as the top remaining candidate to join Russell this December.
