Was Anyone Else Negged When Emmitt Scored?

Did anyone else hear Wolfley talk about this on his show today? He said there is no way in the world any running back goes down in that situation. He also said that all coaches would want him to go down.

I heard that too - I agree with Wolfley on this one.

how many time outs did Seattle have when Smith scored? If they were out of time outs then I would agree with Jeff that getting the first down without scoring ends the game without a doubt and would be a better choice.

I'm not buying this until someone gives me a SINGLE example of this happening at any level of football. DBs falling down with INTs don't count. I want RBs or WRs who could score, for sure, but chose not to.
