Warriors @ Suns Thursday game thread 3-4-2021

On Thursday the Suns play the Warriors at home before the All-Star break.

They won't play again until they play the Trail Blazers at Portland on March 11th.

Warriors are 19-16 having lost in their previous outing to the Lakers 117-91 on Sunday. They play at Portland tonight so they will be playing the Suns on the second night of back-to-back games.

Suns are 23-11 and have won their last three games against the Bulls, Timberwolves and Lakers.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is listed at 8 p.m. Arizona time.

Can we hope the Kings beat the Lakers with Lebron out tonight and maybe the Warriors beat the Trail Blazers in a triple overtime game.

Also it would be nice if the Thunder beat the Mavericks with Luka out.

Kelly Oubre has not been ruled out for the game on Thursday.

I think they are better than the weak teams we've lost to. Prior to the Lakers loss they won 3 in a row on the road against New York, Charlotte and Indiana. Healthy (minus Klay obviously), they are a team that could beat us even if we don't have a subpar game.

I was thinking makeup because we lost three games in Jan, and the Jazz lost one (Feb?), so there is currently a two game difference in the records. So this would put us at two games lost to the Jazz' one, and one game in the standings.

Am I the only one that feels like they might jinx the team if we admit this team is for real? There is only one team with a higher win percentage than the Suns. Only 3 teams with more wins. The team is top 5 in defense.

I still feel like I am going to jinx the team once I go all in.

No. This team is for real, and I'm not scared to say it.

I really only think the Lakers at full strength or the Nets should beat this team in a series.

If Ayton would actually play to his potential, then we could probably hang with anyone.
