There have been questions about what the Dallas Mavericks will do with Klay Thompson over the next few months.

Thompson, undoubtedly one of the best shooters in NBA history, is still a decent player.

However, he's not what he once was.

For that reason, as well as the Mavericks making some questionable decisions, mainly moving on from Luka Doncic, his future in Dallas continues to be one of the biggest questions in the NBA. According to the latest report, the Mavericks' recent addition of Tarik Biberovic makes it even more likely that Thompson will be traded.

“The Mavericks are excited about bringing sharpshooter Tarik Biberović over to the NBA next season, and expect him to have a rotation role from the get-go. That only increases the chances of the Mavs dealing away Klay Thompson if they can find a taker,” Sean Deveny wrote.

A lot of this will play itself out over the next few weeks to months. I don't think Dallas is going to get a great return for Thompson, at least not one that it wants. However, if he can end up on a team with a better chance of winning right now, there's a possibility they'll do the right thing and send him away.
