Definitely a good game by Kurt today.

However, the offense collapsed during the first 28 minutes of the 2nd half.

Is that on Whiz/Edge/oline only?

IMO, they just played it too safe. And, yes, that includes Warner. I thought they should've gone for it on 4th down on at least one of those punts when we had the ball inside their 40.

Who gives a crap? In the two biggest games of the year Warner threw 6 int's, fumbled twice and lost one. Not to mention his 2 int's, and fumble against San Fran.

Don't look at me. I, for one, would like to enjoy a good game and win. It's clear that no matter what happens with Warner there will always be a "...yeah, but".

is it? Hey, it's not like I don't have criticisms of other areas of the team. The defense has been horrific most of the year. You just don't see people constantly defending them ad naseum. As far as those "projections", it left out fumbles lost, which would be around 10. I don't know any Pro Bowl QBs who have 32 turnovers, do you?

Kurt did play a great game today. Shocker that we won a game where we didn't turn the ball over, huh? But, yeah, the whole turnover stat is an over rated one in the scheme of winning and not winning ball games, right?

A) You obviously dislike other people putting words in your mouth; please don't put them in mine. I said nothing about the pro bowl and I am responsible for no projections.
B) The turnover stat is only overrated by you, and that's only because it is the ONLY stat you reference and your frame of reference for it is out of whack to the point that you've referenced a 1:1 ratio as "awful".

that's really not saying much considering how bad QB play is overall in the league.

If that is the case then we have to thank Rod Graves for giving us an adequate backup in a time where QB depth is so poor.

But let's not get carried away here.

For the role that was made for Warner at the begining of the year I am a very happy with his play, and with the season he put together from us. That is a just a personal opinion. I am sure there are stats, and facts that could try and tear this nice thought to pieces but they won't. I liked how Warner played, and was happy he stayed in the mix to lead our team while Matt was hurt.

Warner did something yesterday he has not done consistently all year. Dump it off to our backs. He keeps doing this and he will stop turning the ball over and we will win.
