Last week saw plenty of standout performances in boys basketball, girls basketball, and wrestling across Eastern Connecticut. While there's no shortage of talent, we went and found the best of the best.

Who is The Bulletin athlete of the week?
The Panthers junior guard scored a career-high 33 points in a 68-20 girls basketball win against Tourtellotte. Cross also had a game-high 21 points to lead Plainfield past Wheeler, 47-39. The Panthers are off to a 4-1 start.
The Trailblazers junior guard scored 16 points in a 59-58 non-league boys basketball victory over Kolbe Cathedral. Crowley also scored 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 67-54 loss against New London.
The Golden Eagles junior posted her first career double-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals in a 52-32 girls basketball loss against Prince Tech at Hartford.

The Trailblazers junior helped the Killingly wrestling team capture the Ellis Tech Duals championship by winning all four of his matches. Jonasch earned his 100th career victory during the tournament to join the school’s prestigious Century Club.
The Wildcats junior guard scored 20 points in the Wildcats’ 58-54 victory against Stonington.
The Warriors junior forward collected 17 points, 11 steals, and eight rebounds in a 39-33 girls basketball win over rival Ellis Tech. Stimson also had 20 points and five assists in a last second 43-42 loss against Cheney Tech.
The Wolverines junior guard scored 15 points in a 57-31 girls basketball win against Lyman Memorial. Wichael also had 13 points in the Wolverines’ 76-41 loss against Waterford.
