The 2026 Mississippi high school baseball regular season has come to a close.

As the playoffs begin, the Clarion Ledger looked at the top players in the state from the year, and fans will have a chance to vote on their favorite player in the state from the MHSAA and MAIS.

Vote now in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Saturday.

Statistics were compiled from coaches' submissions or found on MaxPreps and Game Changer, and fall back on the Week of April 10.

Henry Abt, Hartfield Academy: The Southern Miss signee has a team-high .474 batting average with 37 hits and 23 RBIs this season.

Nelson Barthel, Northwest Rankin: Barthel has a .427 batting average with 36 hits and nine home runs.

Eric Booth Jr., Oak Grove: The Vanderbilt signee is hitting .473 with 25 RBIs and five home runs.

Logan Buckley, Columbia Academy: The Southern Miss signee has a 1.00 ERA with 78 strikeouts and a .377 batting average with five home runs.

Will Butler, Lewisburg: The junior is hitting .385 with 23 RBIs and has 42 strikeouts on the mound.

Cade Culpepper, Clarkdale: The senior has a 0.00 ERA and a 7-0 record in 42 innings pitched with 95 strikeouts.

Maddox Culpepper, Brandon: The junior is hitting a team-high .439 with 29 RBIs and 2.30 ERA.

Levin Darsey, Saltillo: The senior has a .397 batting average with 20 RBIs and three home runs.

Drew Davis, Sumrall: The Alabama commit is hitting .517 with 31 RBIs and has a 0.32 ERA with 85 strikeouts.

Ethan Dodson, Clinton: The Memphis signee leads Clinton with a .421 batting average, 24 hits and 18 RBIs.

Christian Doty, Magnolia Heights: The Ole Miss signee is hitting .527 with 48 hits and 28 RBIs.

Reid Garrett, Caledonia: The Liberty signee is posting a 2.00 ERA with 63 strikeouts.

Easton Giger, Petal: Giger is hitting .365 with 26 RBIs, six home runs and a 1.00 ERA.

Deuce Jenkins, Jackson Academy: The Mississippi State commit is hitting .561 with 53 RBIs and 10 home runs.

Jacob Hall, Tishomingo County: Hall is hitting .602 with 53 hits and 36 runs scored.

Jimmy Harvey, Seminary: Harvey has a team-high .508 batting average with 40 RBIs and six home runs.

Alex Lambert, Madison-Ridgeland Academy: The Jones College signee has a .337 batting average with 24 RBIs and five home runs.

Nic Laster, Morton: Laster has a .674 batting average with five home runs.

Taylor Latham, Hartfield Academy: The Southern Miss signee has a 2.83 ERA and a 3-0 record with 41 strikeouts.

Caden Lowery, Wayne Academy: The junior has a team-high .457 batting average, 11 home runs and 47 RBIs.

Eli McDaniels, Mooreville: The freshman is hitting .492 with seven home runs and 35 RBIs.

Jackson Meeham, Northwest Rankin: The Southern Miss signee has 60 strikeouts on the mound with a .381 batting average.

Cole Prosek, Magnolia Heights:The Ole Miss signee has a team-high .532 batting average with 50 hits, 15 home runs, and 62 RBIs.

Sullivan Reed, Lamar School: The Mississippi State commit has a .423 batting average with 36 RBIs and seven home runs and a 7-1 record on the mound.

Wrigley Richardson, Manchester Academy: Richardson has a .590 batting average with 46 runs and 48 hits.

Kevin Roberts Jr., Jackson Prep: The Florida signee has a .342 batting average with 24 RBIs, 21 stolen bases and seven home runs.

Reed Sandberg, Madison Central: Sandberg is hitting .457 with 32 hits, 27 RBIs and five home runs.

Justin San Miguel, Ocean Springs: The Troy signee is hitting .406 with 28 hits and 15 RBIs.


Kolby Stringer, West Marion: Stringer has a .391 batting average with a 9-0 record on the mound and a 0.52 ERA.

Mitchell Turner, Louisville: Turner is hitting .627 with seven home runs and 41 RBIs.

Bankston Walters, Presbyterian Christian: The Southern Miss signee has a 0.32 ERA with 88 strikeouts and six home runs at the plate.

John William Walker, St. Andrew's Episcopal: Walker has a .453 batting average and 44 runs scored with a 2.73 ERA.

Brody Wilson, Tupelo: The senior has a team-high .475 batting average with 30 RBIs, 28 hits and 10 home runs.

Justin Word, Jackson Academy: The Southern Miss signee has a .481 batting average with 38 hits and 22 RBIs.
