With 54% of the total vote share, Red Hook baseball's Dylan MacDonald won the Poughkeepsie Journal Boys Athlete of the Week poll for April 27-May 3.
The Poughkeepsie Journal Boys Athlete of the Week for May 4-10 is now live.
Nominations are based on information gathered and received by the Poughkeepsie Journal throughout the week. For consideration, coaches are asked to submit game information and player stats to [email protected] before the end of the week.

Each week's winner will be selected and posted in the upcoming week's poll. Polls will close at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday night before the announcement the following morning.
Doughty won the javelin throw (168-2) at the Glenn D. Loucks Games in White Plains.
Palmer finished with 13 goals in the week, scoring seven in the Huskies' 19-3 victory over Newburgh.
Sacs finished with 16 saves in a 12-3 victory over Dobbs Ferry.
Drewnowski went 4-4 with a home run, four RBIs and three runs scored in a 21-1 victory over Rondout.
Santana recorded five hits, four RBIs and a run scored in the week.
Correa tossed six innings, allowing just three hits while securing two of his own in an 11-4 victory over Red Hook
Cappillino finished with six hits, four RBIs and seven runs scored in the week.
Finnigan tossed a one-hit complete game, striking out eight batters while walking zero in a 6-0 victory over Fox Lane.
