Girls flag football's rise throughout the country, the state of Florida and the Gainesville area continues.
The number of teams is on the rise, and the top teams have solidified themselves.
Bradford advanced further than any other team in 2025, but the Tornadoes lost the other worldly Nichelle Brown. Santa Fe remains relevant, but they lost top player Brooke Zeller to Gainesville High. This makes the Hurricanes a real force to be reckened with. Then, of course, there's Buchholz — with Taylor Booth and Isaballa Alexander leading the way
Enough talk about what to expect, it's time to determine who is the best of the best. Below is a poll to decide the best girls flag football player in the Gainesville area.
