LANCASTER – The 2025-26 high school season is officially over for the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette coverage area, but there were several outstanding individual performances over the last school year.
It’s now time to determine which female athlete deserves to be the Eagle-Gazette Female Athlete of the Year.
Six athletes are nominated.
Fans are encouraged to vote in the Eagle-Gazette Female Athlete of the Year Poll to determine who they think is the area’s top female athlete. Fans can vote as often as allowed.

The poll will run from 6 a.m. Tuesday to 5 p.m. Friday. The winner will be revealed soon after the survey concludes.

Hailey Rings, Lancaster
Suzie Shultz, Liberty Union
Harper Allen, Lancaster
Josie Burr, Bloom-Carroll
Kendall Brown, Lancaster
Taylor Smeck, Fairfield Union
