It’s time again for the Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.
Congratulations to last week’s winners of the polls, Carson Hollern of C.M. Russell High baseball and Ava Newmack of Great Falls High softball.
Each week during the competition, two girls and two boys will be nominated, and the audience will choose the winner via a poll posted below.
Nominations for future Athlete of the Week polls can be sent to sports reporter Grady Higgins at [email protected].
Voting on this week’s poll will be open until Friday, May 22, at 11:59 p.m., and the winners of the vote will be announced in the following week’s Athlete of the Week story.

Kaylei Schultz, CMR softball: The senior went 2-for-2 with two home runs, five RBIs and a walk in a victory over Great Falls High.
Scarlet Harris, Great Falls High track: The junior topped the field in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles in a dual with CMR, earning a season-best time in the latter.
