With the 2025-26 high school sports season ongoing, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso's top athletes.

This week, readers can vote for which El Paso Times' El Paso Children's Hospital high school female athlete had the best performance in volleyball and basketball.

Here are this week's nominees:

• Emma Guevara, El Paso High basketball. In win vs. Coronado, she had 27 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals
• Abigail Garduno, Burges basketball. In win vs. Veterans Memorial, she scored 18 points and had 19 rebounds. Against Waco Midway, she had 7 points and 12 rebounds and against Riverside, she scored 12 points.
• Kylie Marquez, Americas basketball. In wins vs. Pebble Hills and Eastwood, she had a combined 38 points.
• Karina Ramos-Jurado, Eastlake basketball. Against Trinity, she scored 14 points, against Chapin she scored 10 points and against Flower Mound she scored mine points.
• Rachel Silva, Parkland basketball. In win vs. YWA, she scored 16 points and in win vs. Del Valle, she scored 11 points.
• Annabelle Berry, Hanks wrestling. Berry took first at 105 pounds at the Del Valle wrestling tounament.
• Mia Hairston, Montwood basketball. Hairston scored 15 points in win vs. Bel Air.
• Angel Quinonez, Fabens basketball. Against YWA, she scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. against Tornillo, she scored 10 points and had seven assists.
