The Minnesota Vikings will be an interesting watch in 2026, mainly due to who will be the starting quarterback.
Either Kyler Murray or J.J. McCarthy will be Kevin O'Connell's leader, and whoever it is has Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison as the top two targets.
But could the Vikings add another?
CBS Sports' Garrett Podell has named the Vikings as an ideal landing spot for Stefon Diggs.
“Kevin O'Connell wasn't the coach in Minnesota when Diggs departed to the Buffalo Bills via a 2020 trade request, and he needs to get Minnesota back to the playoffs in 2026 after a disastrous 2025 with J.J. McCarthy at quarterback,” Podell wrote.
“Providing Kyler Murray with three high-caliber wideouts would certainly be helpful toward that cause. Plus, Diggs wouldn't have to work as hard to get open as he ages playing alongside Jefferson and company.”

Is a Diggs reunion possible?
It could be, but Stefon will likely be the third receiver with Jefferson and Addison taking the defense's attention.
Having Diggs as the third receiver would give whoever is in at quarterback a genuine three-headed monster. After all, it's not like Diggs' 2025 season was poor. He still posted over 1,000 yards.
What O'Connell could do with Diggs in an offense that already has Jefferson and Addison is an interesting thought.
I'm not sure how viable it is, but Diggs back in Minnesota would be something.
