I hope Kurt is sending tape of the Vikings-Cardinals game and having a phone conversation with his good buddy Eli Manning this week. A little prayer would not be a bad thing either.

One thing about teams playing their final game on Sunday. They don't have to hold anything back. There is no tomorrow. The Giants can put it all on the line, sort of like the Panthers did on Sunday in the Meadowlands. You just know Tom Coughlin wants to rinse that bad taste out of his mouth, and a "W" in the Metrodome is just the thing to do it.

GO BIG BLUE!!!

Coughlin will have this team pissed off and ready to ruin the Vikings day.

The Vikings are reeling right now. Their confidence has taken a major blow. They are not the same team they wer, nor have they been, since we beat them.

If the Bears can carve this team up, then so can the Giants.

Man, how sweet would it be to end up as the #2 seed?

I still wish the Giants would have had something to play for. They layed a big egg against the Panthers. If this game was at Giants Staduim I would have felt a little better. Don't think they stand much of a chance in the Metrodome. But still.......

Go Giants!

2nd seed

I think this is what they have to play for.

Teams coming off of embarrassing performances tend to bounce back--

the Giants have a punchers chance.

A lot of teams ran into a Carolina buzz saw.

That team is better than their record.

That being said it's a tall order to ask for the Giants to win but what the heck.

Not really. They've got the weapons to put up some serious points on the Vikings. The question is really how hard and how well their defense plays.

My guess is that they will play very hard. That loss was so humiliating I think they will do everything possible to get the taste of it out of their mouth as they end their season.

Exactly! I have little doubt that Eli will exploit that secondary. But I fear that Jon Gruden's sweetheart will do some damage in the air.

He may not have to do very much if the Giants defend the run like they did against Carolina.

Normally I would agree, but this is what everyone said about the Giants after they lose to New Orleans and we were going up to play them. They went on a 5 game losing streak I think.

Aren't the Vikings undefeated at home? I seriously doubt the Giants can win there. Its worth paying attention to but thats about it. I don't see the Giants rebounding after the loss either. I can imagine those guys tanking just to get Coughlin out of their ear.

Don't kid yourself------the G-men have much to play for. This is an old and history laden franchise with an old-school owner, Wellington Mara. There will be much soul searching in their locker room this week, and frankly, though they have not been THAT kind of team this year, they just might be for one final game. They WILL take this personally.
