Tyson Fury paid tribute to his late friend Ricky Hatton today at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, for the ring walk to his fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov.

The first of Fury’s entrance songs on the day was the version of “Blue Moon” that Hatton used as walk-out music himself for years, with Tyson adorned in the colors of Hatton’s beloved Man City, despite Fury himself being a Man United supporter.

You could see some tears in the eyes of Fury during that portion of the walk. Hatton passed away at the age of 46 last year. It was a genuinely nice moment from Fury in tribute to a friend and a beloved fellow British superstar, whose impact went well beyond just the sport of boxing and into the UK’s popular culture.

The rest of Fury’s entrance was a pretty incredible spectacle, featuring a lot of pyrotechnics and a big atmosphere at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
